Softball Austin's 2007 Texas Shootout has designated Hill Country Ride for Aids as their charity organization. As such, a percentage of the proceeds from this year's tournament will be presented to this organization.

To increase the opportunity of raising monies for this organization, we have decided to incorporate an event we are designating as "Ribbons For Life." All proceeds from the Ribbons For Life event will be presented to Hill Country Ride for Aids. The ribbons may be purchased for $1.00 each at registration, as well as each day of the tournament. These ribbons will be displayed along the fence close to Field 8 at the softball complex. The ribbons are to be in memory of someone you know who has died of an AIDS-related illness and/or in honor of someone you know who is living with HIV or AIDS. If you desire, you may write the person's name on the ribbon before pinning the ribbon on the designated display area. At the close of the tournament games on Sunday, you may remove the ribbon(s) you purchased and take them with you.

Ribbons may be purchased at the registration on Friday night, as well as on Saturday and Sunday of the tournament.
