We would like to thank all of our volunteers, sponsors, and teams that took part in our 2006 Texas Shootout Softball Tournament. We had yet another record setting year!!!

This year, we have named Hill Country Ride for AIDS as our beneficiary for the 2007 Texas Shootout Softball Tournament.  Some beneficiaries for the Hill Country Ride for AIDS Organization include:

An exciting lineup of events for this year’s tournament includes our 1st Friday Night Home Run Derby Contest with Live MC’s, Saturday Night Pub Crawl, A Special Weekend Charity Contribution, Awards Banquet, and Live Tournament Bracket Posting via the web.

In addition, our tournament will now extend its invitation to other B-Divisional Teams that think they might be able to take on our own Austin Bat Boys. All B-Division teams will be automatically entered into a random drawing to win half your entry fee back…in cash!

Nightlife in Austin boasts its Mardi Gras-like atmosphere in downtown 6th street and throughout the warehouse district. Labor Day Weekend also encompasses Splash Weekend where visitors head to Hippie Hollow on Lake Travis to sunbathe, and swim.

The 2007 Texas Shootout Tournament Committee and Softball Austin would like to invite you to come see what else makes Austin, Texas so great! We are expecting this year’s tournament to host 50 teams from cities around the nation. Last year’s tournament attracted several out of state teams and neighboring cities that included Tampa, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Atlanta, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
